(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Addressing the NAM meeting of foreign ministers, Kittikhoun said, “It is because of our unity and solidarity that held us to our expectations and made us strong and overcome various challenges throughout decades.”
He said solidarity and unity should be upheld not only in a form of expression of moral support but it should be demonstrated in a more tangible means.
He added that in this context, NAM should work on a more concrete mechanism, which can help its members thus strengthening its credibility and role in the international governance.
More than 100 countries are taking part in the NAM meeting which kicked off at the expert level in Tehran on Sunday.
The foreign ministers of the NAM member states held their meeting in Tehran on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The meeting of the heads of state and government will open on Thursday with an inaugural speech by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
NAM, an international organization with 120 member states, is considered as a body not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc.
